IILM was established in 1993, under the aegis of the Ram Krishan & Sons Charitable Trust. With more than 28+ years of experience in training future entrepreneurs and managers, it has emerged as one of the distinguished Universities in the Delhi NCR area.

The University has been set up under the Uttar Pradesh Private University (Amendment) Act 2022 with a vision to be Global Inclusive and Responsible and the focus will be on Computer Science and Engineering, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. It is located in 16-18 knowledge park II Greater Noida, with a built area of over 26 acres known for its state-of-the-art facilities. The IILM School of Law is offering BA.LLB. (Five years integrated Programme), LL.M. in multiple disciplines and Ph.D. The IILM School of Law envisions the niceties of the province of law and produces skilfully excellent law functionaries for better delivery from justice system, legislative bodies and executive agencies equally both from private and public sphere, to the utmost satisfaction of the people of our country and beyond. It strives to provide quality education through a student centric approach and polishing their skills in order to make them ready for the world of performance.

Theme

The objective of the Moot Court Competition is to provide participants with a platform to hone their legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills within a simulated courtroom environment.

Moot Problem is based upon Criminal law, Contract Law, Constitutional Law and other allied laws to allow students to apply theoretical legal knowledge to practical scenarios, analysing cases, statutes, and precedents to construct compelling legal arguments.

Eligibility

Students pursuing either a 3-year or a 5-year LL.B. degree from any Law School/College/University recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate. Team members must be bonafide students of the institution they are representing.

Teams participating in the Competition must be duly authorized by the moot court society/ Faculty-in charge/Dean of their respective Institute to participate. (Registration Form is attached with the Brochure pdf).

No University/institution can send more than two teams for the Competition.

How to Register

Interested participants have to first fill the Physical Registration Form, Pay the Registration Fees and then fill the Google Form (Link in the Brochure)

Prizes

The winners shall be awarded Cash prizes, Certificates, Trophies, and other perks which may be announced at the later stage of the Competition. There shall be awards under the following categories:

1. Winning Team: Rs 61000/-

2. Runner Up Team: Rs 31000/-

3. Best Speaker/Mooter: Rs 5000/-

4. Best Researcher: Rs 5000/-

5. Best Memorial: Rs 5000/-

All Participants will be given participation certificates
