Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya is a private university established under Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Sthapana Avam Sanchalan) Adhiniyam in 2015 at Indore MP (India).
A moot court competition simulates a court hearing (usually an appeal against a final decision), in which participants analyze a problem, research the relevant law, prepare written submissions, and present oral arguments. Moot problems are typically set in areas of law that are unsettled or that have been subject to recent developments. They usually involve two grounds of appeal, argued by each side.
What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?
- Eligibility: Members of the team must be students pursuing a Bachelor of Law (Note – Bachelor of Law means a 3-year graduation or 5-year integrated course for Indian students) or students of Forensic Streams or any equivalent diploma in Law.
- More than one team can register from a particular College or Law School or University for participation in the competition, but should not exceed 2 teams per College or Law School or University.
- The team has to submit a letter from the Head / Dean of the Institution / Moot Court Committee authorizing them to participate on behalf of the College or Law School shall be entitled to participate and will be registered.
- Team Composition:
- Two speakers and one researcher.
- Two speakers only.
- Three speakers and one researcher.
- Three speakers only.
- Four speakers and one researcher.
- Four speakers only.
- NOTE: The Organizers will assign a code to each team and its members.
- Registration Process:
- The teams will have to register themselves by completing and submitting the Registration Form by 10.00 pm on March 30, 2024.
- Upon successful completion and submission of the Registration Form, each team will receive an email from the Organizers informing them of their successful Registration.
- If a team does not receive such an email, it may contemporaneously send an email with its registration details to nmcc.svsl@gmail.com and a response will be sent by email by the Organizers within 07 (seven) days informing the team of its successful Registration.
- Registration Forms will have to be completed and submitted with all material particulars by the teams. Please note that incomplete Registration Forms shall not be accepted.
- The composition of the team cannot be changed once a team has registered.
- There is a 4000/- Registration Fee for registering or participating in the competition.
- Teams that have successfully registered will be provided with a Unique Registration Number [‘URN’] by email. Once allotted, the URN must be mentioned in all future correspondence with the Organizers.
- Apart from the URN, teams are requested not to display or add the names or logos of their Colleges, Universities, or Law Schools anywhere in any communication(s) addressed to the Organizers or in memorials/material submitted for the Competition.

- Competition: April 22-24, 2024.
- Last Date Registration: April 05, 2024.
- Last Date Submission of Memorial (Email): April 15, 2024.
- Last Date for submission of Memorial (hard copy): April 22, 2024.
