Who Is The Organiser?

Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, formerly Baroda College, is a public university in the city of Vadodara, Gujarat, India. Originally established as a college in 1881, it became a university in 1949 after India’s independence. It was later renamed after its benefactor Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, the former ruler of Baroda State. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. It houses 89 departments spread over 6 campuses (2 rural and 4 urban) covering 275 acres of land.

What Are The Details Of The Event?

  • Date of the event: 9th-11th February 2024
  • Type of events: The National Law Fest – Lux Et Veritas 2024 includes:
    • 10th Moot Court Competition: This year’s Moot Proposition is based on the “Artificial Intelligence & Data Protection Regulations”
    • 9th Client Counselling Competition
    • 9th Legal Drafting Competition
    •  5th  Judgement Writing Competition.
  • Registration Form: CLICK HERE for the registration form
  • Registration & Participation Details:
    • The teams interested to participate are required to confirm their participationby sending an email attaching the scanned copy of registration form and soft copy of Demand Draft, duly filled, to luxetveritas2020@msubaroda.ac.in by 30/11/2023.
    •  On receipt of such confirmation email, the Provisional Registration of that Institution/College is deemed to have been accepted and confirmed for participation.
    •  The hard copy of the duly filled Registration Form accompanied with the Demand Draft of INR 4000/- for the National Law Fest must reach the organizers on or before 9/12/2023.
    •  Kindly note that such email has to be sent through the University/School/College/Department’s official email address. Emails sent through personal/non-official email addresses and emails sent to any other address other than the above mentioned shall be invalid.
    •  The Registration Fee of INR 4000/- for the National Law Fest is to be paid through a Demand Draft in the name of ‘The Director BSLS, Faculty of Law’ payable at Vadodara. The cover should be marked as Lux Et Veritas 2024 and should be sent at address as under: Faculty of Law, Maharaja PratapsinhRao Gaekwad Parisar (Donor’s Plaza), Opp.University Head Office, Fatehgunj, Vadodara,Gujara t – 390002.
    • Registration fee is INR 4000/- per team.
    •  Once the Registration is confirmed, the Demand Draft shall be Non-Refundable.
    •  Participating teams are required to intimate of their arrival in Vadodara on luxetveritas2020@msubaroda.ac.in
    •  The teams shall solely be responsible for any delay caused.
  • Important Dates:
    • Last Date of submission of soft copies of the Registration Form and DD : 30/12/2023.
    • Last Date of submission of Hard copies of the Registration Form and DD : 09/01/2024.
    • Last date for alteration of team composition 1/2/2024
    • Memorials submission soft copy 1/2/2024
    • Memorials submission hard copy 9/2/2024
    • Last date for clarification requests 27/12/2023
    • Releasing Clarifications 30/12/2023
