About the Moot:

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA is organising the K.T.S Tulsi Mock Trial as well as Client Counselling Competition during their Annual National Youth Festival: SymFiesta’24, scheduled from March 15-17, 2024 on their campus. SYMFIESTA’24 provides versatile opportunities for the nationwide youth to display their ingenuity in multiple talent pursuits. SYMFIESTA’24 is filled with a plethora of Cultural and Literary Events, and includes these two Legal Events, co-organised by Pro-Bono Club and Moot Court Society.

Eligibility: The competitions are open for students pursuing a three or five-year LL. B degree course from any recognized College/University/Law School.

Each participant is required to carry his/her college ID-card on all days of the competition.

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA, Sector 62, NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh- 201301

Team Composition: –

Mock Trial:

  1.  Each Team shall be composed of two/three members, two Speakers/Pleader & one Researcher.

  2.  Each speaker/pleader shall conduct examination of witness(es), i.e. either examination-in-chief or cross-examination, AND either opening statement or final arguments, in each round.

 Client Counselling:

  1. Each Team shall be composed of two members.

  2. Teams cannot be changed or altered after registration. Any change or alteration in the registered team is subject to the sole discretion of the Organizing Committee.

  3. Team Codes shall be allotted to the respective teams upon arrival at the venue, by the Organizing Committee which shall be used to identify the team throughout the competition.

  4. Cross-teams i.e. participants belonging to different colleges are not allowed to form a team for the competition.

Mock Trial:

The participating teams may kindly keep in view that the maximum number of teams is 24. Registration shall be confirmed on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Each team shall be allotted a Team Code via email by March 6, 2024.

Law Schools/Departments are welcome to register via the provided Google form link in the rulebook by March 4, 2024, on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 24 teams for the Legal Events.

Client Counselling:

Each team is required to register at the following link on or before March 09, 2024: Click Here

The participating teams may kindly keep in view that the maximum number of teams is 28.

Registration shall be confirmed on a first-come-first-serve basis. Each team shall be allotted a Team Code at the time of desk registration.

Fee Details: –

Mock Trial:

  1. The Registration Fee for the KTS Tulsi Mock Trial Competition is INR 2800 per team.

  1. The Registration Fee for the Client Counselling Competition is INR 1000 per team.

Prizes: –

Mock Trial:

  1. Winning team shall receive a prize in cash for rupees twenty thousand in addition to the ‘Winner’ certificate.

  2. Second best team shall receive a prize in cash for rupees fifteen thousand.

  3. Third best team shall receive a prize in cash for ten thousand rupees.

  4. In addition to cash prizes, the teams will also receive other exciting prizes, including SCC Subscription.

  5. All teams will receive participating certificates only during the Valedictory Ceremony. Certificates will not be provided to the participants who are absent during the ceremony.

Client Counselling:

  1. Winning team shall receive a prize in cash INR nine thousand in addition to the ‘Winner’ certificate.

  2. Second best team/Runners-Up team shall receive prize in cash INR five thousand.

  3. Winning Team will also receive other exciting prizes including SCC Subscription.

  4. All teams will receive participating certificates only during the Results Ceremony. Certificates will not be provided to the participants who are absent during the ceremony.
