What Is JRCT?

JRCT is an independent Quaker trust which makes grants to organisations and individuals working to produce positive social change through their charitable work. Our mission is to support people who address the root causes of conflict and injustice. Every year JRCT makes about 100 grants for all kinds of charitable work, from grassroots community groups to well-established charities working to build a peaceful and just world. The Trust supports work in five programme areas: peace and security, rights and justice, power and accountability, sustainable future and Northern Ireland. The majority of our funding goes to people working on projects in the UK. We support those who are passionate about making a positive difference; whether they are promoting peace in Northern Ireland, advocating for some of the most vulnerable people in our society or taking steps towards an environmentally sustainable future.

What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?

  • Job Post: Rights and Justice programme manager
  • Nature of Job: Two year contract, part time (21 hours per week)
  • Salary: £69,402 – £79,022 per year
  • Closing date: 25 February 2024 at 23:59
  • Eligibility: They are looking for a motivated, thoughtful, accountable and creative person with a personal commitment to social justice and transformative change to co-manage our Rights and Justice programme. They will bring strong leadership, strategy and organisational skills to co-develop and co-manage the programme alongside the existing programme manager and in-coming programme assistant.
