Job Opportunity for law Graduates: Call for Legal Research Associates & Assistants by VIPS, Delhi: Apply by May 5

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies has been awarded a research project on “An empirical study into the working of Ashram Schools (boys and girls residential) with special reference to Tribal areas located on Inter-state border areas of Central India (Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh) by the National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi.

For the above mentioned research project, Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Delhi is looking for exceptional legal research scholars in law for the job role of research associates and research assistants.

Vacancies

The project has 4 positions.

• 2 research associates and
• 2 research assistants.

Nature of Work

Temporary Job Positions

The project relates to working of Ashram schools therefore the research associates would be required to perform the following tasks:

• Provide research support for the project.
• Research and compile relevant reports to the topic of the project.
• Provide logistical and administrative report for undertaking research.
• Assist with other related activities.

Engagement Period

• 6 months extendable to one year on the basis of performance
• Full time commitment.

Rewards

• Research Associate: INR 15,000 per month and
• Research Assistants: INR 12,000 per month.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in any Discipline
• Master’s degree in Law/Sociology, Social work (preferred).
• Exceptional research and writing skills preferably in Tribal issues.
• Working knowledge of Marathi (preferred).
• Research Associates from Inter-state borders of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh will be preferred.
