University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Chandigarh University, is among the top Law institutes in North India. At UILS we believe in combining the conventional focus on the Rule of Law with a modern approach to problem solving and serving society at large. We encourage students to actively pursue their dreams and equip themselves with the necessary skills and hands-on legal experience in order to grow. Facilitating the students with an intensive and industry-aligned curriculum, UILS equips the students with domain-specific skills and ethical values. Real-time exposure to the Courtroom practice is exercised in the form of moot court competitions to stimulate the critical understanding of Legal studies and impart knowledge that is beyond academics. UILS offers 5 years of BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BCOM LLB (Hons), LLB (3 years), and LLM program. Apart from this UILS has also the Center of Post Graduate Legal Studies (CPGLS) with 8 Centres of Excellence. It proposes 6 specializations in LLM and 8 Honours in integrated law programs. It offers both regular and part-time Ph.D. programs.

    • For Abstract:
      • High-quality abstracts are invited.
      • The abstract shall not exceed 300 words and shall include Five keywords.
      • Author and Co-Author: There may be an Author and Co-Author for a research paper.
      • Abstract must reach to us by July 25, 2023. The abstract received after July 25 will not be considered for publication in the souvenir
    • For Full Length Papers:
      • The conference paper should be original, unpublished, and should adhere to the conference theme
      • Page Limit: Full paper should not exceed 3000 – 4000 words.
      • Text: Size 12-pt. Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing; heading 14-pt (bold), Times New Roman: Subheadings 12-pt (bold), Times New Roman, Foot Note 10-pt Times New Roman.
      • Reference Style: Authors to Cite Reference and avoid Plagiarism.
      • The Blue Book: A Uniform System of Citation – 21 Edition reference style or ILI reference style should be followed strictly.
      • Author Name and Designation: Author Name and Designation would appear under the Title of the Paper on the First Page / Abstract.
