Posted by IMS Law College, Noida: Founded in 2004, IMS Law College, Noida operates under the auspices of IMS Society, a non-profit organisation. IMS Law College is the first college in Noida to offer a 5-year integrated B.A., LL.B. programme. The Bar Council of India has approved the College, which is recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut.
The Club’s mission is to spread knowledge about the power we have in our hands as a result of the Right To Information Act of 2005; raise awareness among the general public about their right to obtain information from public authorities; and inform the public about the importance of transparency in governance, among other things. IMS – RTI Club has filed over 1000 RTIs since its inception. The RTIs filed by the club have reached a plethora of government departments and ministries, with many of them even being published in the columns of various prestigious newspapers.
