“GAVELLED: 4th MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2022,” is the initiative of School of Law to organize a national level moot court competition. The objective of this competition is to develop an increased awareness and interest in the contemporary issues of Criminal Law and Constitutional Law.

The competition is weaved around a moot problem based on a conflict between the existing law and emerging interests of people with the changing dimensions of society. It’s aim is to nurture academic excellence amongst the students and to develop their advocacy and research skills. 

The Moot Court Society (MCS), School of Law, LPU takes all possible initiatives for the development of moot court activities in the School of Law, LPU. The MCS is responsible for organizing intra-moot court competitions, inter-university moot court competitions (both national and international), client counselling competitions and trial advocacy competitions. The MCS has a key role in developing future mooters as well as developing a culture of mooting in the School. The Society consists of experience mooters and researchers. The Society aims at providing a conducive environment for mooting so that experiential learning in law school can be enhanced and the objective of scales and swords of justice could be met.
