  • Teaching students at all levels of the curriculum, from introductory to advanced courses in their field of interest
  • Researching and writing scholarly articles on legal topics such as contract law, corporate law, or criminal law
  • Participating in continuing legal education activities, such as teaching workshops or seminars
  • Preparing course materials such as syllabi, lecture notes, homework assignments, and tests
  • Participating in peer review processes for scholarly journals in their field of interest
  • Preparing and maintaining legal briefs, pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents for clients or other attorneys in court proceedings
  • Preparing course schedules and teaching plans, as well as selecting textbooks and other materials needed for classes
  • Preparing and administering examinations, such as bar exams or other tests required for admission to practice law in a particular jurisdiction
  • Participating in academic meetings and other events on campus to promote the law school and its programs to prospective students
