Adv. Debashis Mitra, High Court, Kolkata
15th July to 15th August
10 am to 5 pm (It does vary with the workloads)
Initially it does look pretty congestive but as the day passes one could find the interest along with the workloads. It’s quite usual to have loads of work in hands while interning at High Courts so one could rarely gets time to analyze the surroundings. So better get grooving along with the allocated work pressures.
The experience in itself is a worth desiring for. So being on an aspirant stage, I prefer gaining experience more than applauded with money.
I was very excited so my excitement pays off when I get introduced with Adv. Debashis Mitra under whom I did my internship. He is very humble person, quite approachable. He appointed me in his own chamber and then showed me the work procedure. From then onwards my works get started. My first day work was to draft a plaint which was pretty much thrilling for me.
Through this internship I could be able to unlock how exactly it feels stepping into the shoes of a lawyer being amongst the huddle of lawyers.
Lesson for me is something which helps you cash in something in your future and interning at High Court really makes it worth.
A great place to start your legal profession with professionalism.
If you fond of roaring being on the lion’s cave then High Court is the perfect place to intern at.
