Internship Opportunity for Law Students at United Nations in Economic Affairs for 2017
The internship is UNPAID. All costs of travel and accommodation, including living expenses, must be covered by the intern or any relevant sponsoring institution. The child or sibling of a staff member shall not be eligible to apply for an internship at the United Nations. Interns shall not be eligible to apply for, or be appointed to, positions at the professional level and above for a period of six months following the end of their internship. A completed online application (Cover Note and Personal History Profile) is required. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

United Nations
Undergraduate or graduate studies in economics, international relations, law or statistics is desirable.
To qualify for an internship with the United Nations Internship Programme, the following conditions must be met:
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
(a) be enrolled in a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
(b) be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent); or
(c) have graduated with a university degree (as defined above) and, if selected, must commence the internship within a one year period of graduation
No work experience is required.
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
Knowledge of Spanish (both oral and written) is required for the Internship Programme.
Knowledge of English is required.
Knowledge of another UN official language is desirable.
