Work environment was quite friendly. The place looked like a typical government office with bundles of files kept everywhere. We were alloted mentors who used to guide us in our research work. Extra holiday in a week was allowed. However, we were supposed to reach office strictly at time.
My first day at the office was as normal. I reached the place on time. My mentor made me understand the nature of work. There were more people in my team. We all sat in the library area and did our work.
I got an experience as to how a government office works. Nearby food stalls served good food. We enjoyed it during break time.
I had a mentality that government offices are unorganised and they work in a clumsy manner. I was proved wrong. NCW is a place where you will find everything well organised and well dealt.
