About Organization

It is all about where you are placed after your application is accepted. One first need to report to its Head office (lake garden, kolkata). After the proper application process, the HR coordinator will allocate you in their different offices. Hope Foundation has lots of subjects to deal with so one can make a choice too. I has assign to the branch office of hope foundation, names as Hope Kolkata Foundation (panditya palace, kolkata). It is basically a NGO which does not have any legal department but is good to start with for new interns. A good working place with air conditioner room and most importantly a well behaved and good staffs that will sure motivate with to do your work. Although i mainly worked on the social issues of ICDS, RTI ,STI, Child abuse . There is no hard and first rule for interns , it mainly depended on the amount of work one had and if one possess a laptop they can bring their work home.

3 weeks ( 21 days). Though it is optional one can go for more, as i didnt had much of law related so i just opt. for 3 weeks.

First day at organization

On the very first day i was dam nervous and excited too because it was my first internship program. Every staffs were well behaved and welcomed us warmly.

Best Part of Internship

We turned to be a new family. I did not ever thought that a simole organisation can finally become a part of me. We the interns and our respective field officers were one with whom we use to hang out mostly.

Biggest Lesson

Think positive be positive. One cannot be a good lawyer or an advocate untill ans unless one understands its society.
