“Poem on life goes on”

Life Goes On ! 

I remember all the times i used to smile,
I remember all the times i used to enjoy,
I remember all the times i played as a child;
And now comes a time when i realise,
How easily time passes by with life.

I see the waves in the open ocean,
Travelling miles just to touch the sand,
Going back with a faith to come again;
Sometimes they leave precious gems,
Sometimes just logs of wood at the side,
But nevertheless they return again, with a sigh.

There were times in my life,
When I faced sadness and depression at the same time,
I used to cry and feel like dying,
But then i realised shit happens in life,
And again i look for a brighter side.

There are moments in my life,
When I wish to stop the wheel of time forever,
To live in that limited forever till i die,
But everything happens in life for a reason,
And i realised that time cannot be paused,
Just as life goes on.

All the times i would fall and have the will to get back up,
Knowing that in me was a soldier, always to be tough,
I tried to face the other side of the coin,
Hoping to have a threshold to join

There are moments when,
The one who adores you tends to hurt you,
The one who needs a shoulder to cry on doesn’t find one,
But life still goes on …!!
