This is an old organization started on 6^th march 1976 and registered under “The societies registration act XXI of 1860 (No. 7989) situated at 5/27A, JANGPURA B New Delhi- 110014.

Timing:

9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Main Task Work Profile:

Organization is working for improving the condition of people living in slum areas and to improve the condition of women. Our work was to motivate women and to sensitize them about their rights. We also got the task to work under Gender Resource Centre- Suvidha Kendra Project. They let us to visit Jantar Mantar where we got the chance to visit Nirbhaya’s parents and police station where we got knowledge of their working criteria. We also visited slum areas and talked with people about their problems. Daily we had given different tasks.

Work Environment at office:

The working environment was very cooperative and the way of guiding was very good.

Stipend:

No. Knowledge given by them is itself valuable.

First day at organization:

Firstly they told us the way of their working and their motive behind it and then they made us to engage in the task given by them and that was to understand the problems of slum people by actually communicating with them.

Best Part of Internship:

Our visit to police station and attending a meeting with them where we gave some solutions according to our knowledge to them which can help the problems of people.

Biggest Lesson:

Be courageous. The more you feel yourself week, more people will make you weak.

Anything else you’d like to tell:

A lawyer needs to do many things for which he should not wait for his degree, start from today to help people as best as you can.

Any Message to other Law Students:

We are the future of India and India needs development in all regions and for all people so do something which can give benefit to all and don’t keep quite. Whenever you see crime, stand for it.
