No Stipend
We were required to fill forms containing our information. We were treated very nicely. Then we have to discuss some topics related to Human Rights and related Organisations amongst our group. It happened to be an interactive session.
We were told about the functioning of State Human Rights Commission (RSHRC) from various officers of the Commission. Moreover had lectures on Concepts and Declaration of human Rights, RTI, Gender Sensitisation, Human Rights and Police: How Police violates people’s rights and how their rights are getting violate, Human Rights of the disabled person, Human Rights of prisoner etc.
Helpful in learning important judgements, the Human Rights Court proceedings, the powers of the Human Rights Court. I became more vigilant of Human Rights. A paradigm shift in my understanding of issues.
It was a great journey. I learned so much. Pink City is an incredible city to live in. I really miss my this summer internship.
