Submission Guidelines
- Submissions shall be accepted only in the English language.
- All articles must accompany an ‘ABSTRACT’ of 250-300 words which include the novelty and usefulness of the ideas of the submission.
- Co-authorship is allowed for up to one (1) co-author only.
- The manuscript should not contain any references to the identity of the authors.
- The body of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 and 1.5 line spacing, with 1” Margin from all sides. The footnotes should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 10 and single line spacing
- For Citation, refer to the HPNLU Shimla Citation Style only. Please view here or here.
- For citation purposes only ‘footnotes’ are allowed. No other format is prohibited.
- Only authoritative sources may be cited. References to internet sources such as Wikipedia, Blogs, Commercial Websites, et cetera, are not acceptable.
- Submissions shall be made in MS Word (.doc/.docs) format at clbe@hpnlu.ac.in; the subject of the email should be “Submission to HPNLU-JTL”.
- Plagiarism: All submissions must be plagiarism free. Paraphrasing another author’s work shall not be considered original work. The sources used must be acknowledged.
- Cover Letter: The author(s) is required to send a covering letter mentioning the Title of the paper, Name, Designation and Details of the author(s) and Institutional Affiliation. Further, the author(s) is required to make a solemn declaration about the originality of the manuscript and that the same has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
Submission Deadline
The submission must be sent by 11:59 PM, October 30, 2022.
Word Limit
- Short Articles: 4000-6000 words
- Long Article: 6000-10000 words
- Comments: 4000-6000 words
- Book Review*: 3000-4000 words
