About the organisation
National Law University Odisha is an autonomous law university in India located at Cuttack, Odisha. It was established in 2008 under the National Law University Odisha Act, commencing its first batch from July 2009.
About the journal
National Law University Odisha, Cuttack is calling for contributions for its forthcoming issue of “Human Rights Law Journal” in the form of articles, case comments, legislative comments and book reviews.
Human Rights Law Journal is a Bi-annual peer-reviewed academic journal bearing ISSN Number: 2581-3307. The printing and distributing partner is the Eastern Book Company Group, one of India’s most prominent law publishers.
Submission Categories
  • Articles: 6000 words excluding footnotes
  • Case Comments/Legislative Comments: 3500 words excluding footnotes
  • Book Reviews: 2500 words excluding footnotes
  • Abstract: 300 words
Themes
  1. Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law
  2. Gender Justice and Human Rights
  3. Human Rights of Tribes and Indigenous People
  4. Human Rights and Racial Discrimination
  5. Expanding Horizons of Human Rights in the 21st Century.
  6. Human Rights and financial inclusion.
Note: Authors are free to choose any sub-topics under these themes and areas. Submissions should demonstrate the strong methodological approach, high writing quality, robust analysis, and adherence to the topic.

Who can apply-

We welcome Submissions from students, academicians, researchers and legal practitioners, to come up with their contributions in the form of articles, case comments, legislative comments and book reviews. Our only requirement is quality and non plagiarised submissions.

Submission Guidelines

  • Maximum of two authors can collaborate for any submission.
  • All the submission to be emailed to hrlj@nluo.ac.in
  • Last date for submission: 23rd June 2019
  • Name of the file must have Name of the Author and Title of the Submission.
  • Headings and Sub-Headings should be numbered, should be of the same font type and size as the main text and should be in bold.
