The Journal of National Law University, Delhi (JNLUD) is the flagship journal of the National Law University Delhi, [ISSN No: 2277-4017] one of the premier law schools in India. This peer-reviewed, faculty-edited, open access, international journal promotes inter-disciplinary and empirical discussions on diverse areas of law. It is widely read by scholars, judges, and practitioners across the world. The journal was founded in the year 2013 and within a short span of time, it has achieved wide recognition due to the quality and diversity of works published. JNLUD is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Journal of NLUD is inviting original & unpublished articles, case notes & comments, book reviews for publication in its upcoming issue (Vol. 10, 2023-24).
What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?
- Types of Submissions
- Articles are typically of around 6000-8000 words including footnotes.
- Notes and Comments are short pieces of less than 5000 words. These have a narrower scope of inquiry than articles and may include analysis of recent case laws, legislation or policy.
- Book reviews are generally around 2500 words. Successful submissions to this category will critically analyse the ideas and themes explored in the book instead of merely providing a summary of its main arguments.
- Submission Process: To submit an article, case notes, comments and book reviews please CLICK HERE. All submissions must comply with the style guide suggested in the brochure. Articles mailed directly to JNLUD email address will not be considered.
- Citation and Format:
- Journal of National Law University Delhi adheres to the OSCOLA citation style. Authors are requested to follow the same.
- Please submit your manuscript in MS-Word document format only.
- Relevant details of the author and their affiliation would be captured only through a Google Form. The submission, therefore, should not contain any reference to the identity of the author in order to enable anonymous screening and peer review.
- Each submission (except Book Review) should be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 300 words and five key words.
- Please ensure no names are included on the first page of the submission document.
- Figures should be high quality (1200 dpi for line art, 600 dpi for grayscale and 300 dpi for colour, at the correct size). Figures should be supplied in one of our preferred file formats: EPS, PS, JPEG, TIFF, or Microsoft Word (DOC or DOCX) files are acceptable for figures that have been drawn in Word.
- There are no submission fees, publication fees or page charges for this journal.
- Review Process:
- The review process is an anonymous, independent, and robust approach to the different submission to the Journal.
- The review process ensures that the process at the desk review stage by the editorial committee and the article review stage by two referees remain anonymous.
