What Is Amity University Chhattisgarh?

Amity University Chhattisgarh was established with a vision to contribute to nation-building through education by developing industry-ready graduates who are technically focused, socially sensitive, and ethically sound. The university follows the core philosophy of achieving academic excellence through industry integration, internalization, and research. The teaching and learning methods adopted by the university include both traditional and contemporary techniques.

Amity Law School, Amity University Chhattisgarh is affiliated with the Bar Council of India and is one of the premier institutions of Central India to evolve and disseminate comprehensive legal education based on research and innovation. It has a holistic approach towards interdisciplinary legal education to promote ethical values foster the rule of law and promote legal awareness in society.

This seminar aims to provide a comprehensive understanding multifaceted nature of war. Through exploring diverse perspectives and drawing valuable insight, participants will gain a deeper appreciation of the complexities that shape modern warfare.

What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?

  • The seminar will explore themes such as: The evolution of warfare and international humanitarian law;
  • War crimes, justice, and accountability;
  • The role of international law in conflict prevention and resolution;
  • Arms control and international security; and
  • The impact of war on human rights and refugees.

  • Eligibility:
  • Students, research scholars/ faculty/ academicians, and professionals.
  • Submission Guidelines:
  • All research papers must be exclusively submitted through the designated Google form, accessible link will be shared. Submissions made through alternative channels will not be considered.
  • The research paper should not include any personal details of the author.
  • Submissions should be in either .doc or .docx format.
  • Co-authorship is limited to a maximum of one person.
  • The author(s) bear sole responsibility for the accuracy of facts, opinions, or views expressed in the submissions.
  • Similarity is permitted up to 20% and free from AI-generated content. Submissions must strictly adhere to legal research on the suggested topics.
  • The body of the manuscript shall be in Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing.
  • Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, size 10 single line spacing.
  • A margin of 4 cm shall be left on all sides of the paper. Page borders shall not be used.
  • Prizes:
  • The Best Paper Award will be given after peer- review based on the quality of the research work.
  • Selected papers will be published. Publishing guidelines will be shared at a further stage.
  • Important Dates:
  • Last date of submission of the Abstract: 18th of March, 2024
  • Last date of submission of full manuscript: 31st of March, 2024
