Call for Blogs for Law Students-NLUO’s CCL Blog [No Fee]: Submissions on a rolling basis.

The Centre for Corporate Law is a project of the National Law University of Odisha, Cuttack, with the goal of promoting interdisciplinary study in corporate law and related subjects such as insolvency and securities law. The ‘CCL Blog,’ among other things, is run by the Centre for Corporate Law.

The CCL Blog is a three-tiered, open-access, peer reviewed blog that aims to promote research in academia and the legal community on current challenges in corporate law and related fields. Simultaneously, the blog aims to offer content that keeps its readers up to speed with current news and analysis.

Editorial Board

The Blog’s Editorial Board includes distinguished members from the industry which include:

Call for Blogs

CCL is pleased to invite well-researched blogs on a rolling basis. Submissions can be in the form of articles, opinions, case comments and short notes on topics revolving around ‘Corporate and Commercial Laws’. Topics Submissions can be made within the ambit of ‘Corporate or Commercial Laws’. For the convenience of the authors, they include inter alia:

  • Banking and Finance Laws
  • Commercial Arbitration
  • Company Law
  • Competition/Antitrust Laws
  • Insolvency and Bankruptcy
  • Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Securities and Capital Markets
  • Tax Laws

Eligibility
Students, practitioners, scholars, academicians, policymakers, and other legal stakeholders are invited to contribute blogs to the CCL Blog.

Submission Requirements

  • Submissions must be the author’s original work, and they must not have been previously published or submitted for publication anywhere.
  • Up to two authors can collaborate on a paper.
  • Footnotes (OSCOLA) or a hyperlink to a credible internet source in the main text can be used to provide citations.
  • Furthermore, pinpoint citations must be given if the author depends on a specific area of a document to support an argument.
  • To improve the impact of their contributions, authors should keep their writings concise and precise. The word count should be between 1200 and 1500 words (excluding footnotes).
  • Advertising or marketing materials should not be included in submissions. Alert memoranda and other current awareness pieces created by law firms and other service providers will not be considered for publication, nor will posts summarising (and maybe linking to) them.
  • There should be no insulting, abusive, disparaging, or potentially defamatory content in submissions.

There will be no processing or publication charges.
