What Is PES University, Bengaluru?

PES University, located in Bengaluru, India is one of the country’s leading teaching and research universities. The University is committed to providing “education for the real world” that inspires students to realize their potential. The Faculty of Law, PES University was established in the year 2017, under the able guidance of our Hon’ble Founder and Chancellor, Dr. M.R Doreswamy, with a vision of establishing a global law school. It offers a five-year integrated BBA LLB (Hons.) and BA LLB (Hons.) program spread over ten semesters.

Avinya 2023 is the first ever inter-state hybrid mode legal startup competition being organised by the Centre for Corporate Law, Faculty of Law, PES University, Bangalore. The flagship event will witness the presence of many eminent personalities (from the corporate field ranging from Angel Investors to Successful Entrepreneurs).

What Are The Details Of The Event?

• Objective: It aims to bring out the entrepreneurial skills of the students by giving them a platform to propose a start-up business that fosters legal innovation.
• Mode & Venue: Hybrid mode. Rounds 1 and 2 will be conducted virtually. Round 3 will be hosted at PES University, RR campus, Bengaluru.
• Eligibility: undergraduate students, who are currently studying at a recognised college/ department/ university (Participation is not restricted to one team per university).
• Date of the event: 23rd April 2023: Inauguration and Round 1, 29th April 2023: Round 2 & 2nd May 2023 :Round 3 and Valedictory.
• Last date of registration:15th April 2023

1. Winners – Prize Money and Certificate
2.  Best Idea – Prize Money and Certificate

Note: E-certificate of participation shall be provided to all participants. The winners will also receive special incentives from the collaborators and other investors who are associating with the event.
