Posted by

NLU Jodhpur created the Centre for Advanced Research and Training in Arbitration Law (CARTAL) to encourage research and scholarship in specialised domains of arbitration law. It aims to provide academicians, professionals, and law students with a theoretical and practical grasp of arbitration law by providing a forum for them to engage and discuss current issues in the field.

CARTAL publishes the Indian Journal of Arbitration Law (IJAL), a biannual open-access journal. It is the most widely read arbitration law journal in India. While the word ‘Indian’ in the journal’s name denotes the country of origin, the journal has always focused on themes of worldwide interest and relevance. IJAL has released nine volumes to date and continues to feature contributions from internationally renowned professionals.
