Who Is The Organiser?

The National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU), was established by the Rashtriya Vidhi Sansthan Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, by an Act No. 41 of 1997 enacted by the Madhya Pradesh State Legislature. NLIU is recognized by the University Grants Commission and the Bar Council of India.

The NLIU – Legal Aid Clinic (“LAC”), which is driven by the ethos of Article 39A of the Indian Constitution, has been established under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority. It is a student-run initiative, which aims to provide free legal aid to the marginalized sections of the society with an aim is to provide pro bono legal representation and advice to the weak and downtrodden sections of the society.

What Are The Details Of The Event?

  • Objective: To provide an opportunity to cultivate skills to handle real life cases and impart expertise to provide legal advice and run their legal aid centers.
  • Date of the event: 22nd-23rd April 2023
  • Mode: Hybrid mode
  • Last date of registration: 9th April 2023 (11:59 P.M)
  • Registration form: CLICK HERE to register for training sessions & competition and CLICK HERE to register only for Training Sessions
  • Eligibility: For competition: Students currently pursuing their bachelor’s degree in law i.e., 3-Year LL.B. course or 5-Year LL.B. course from any recognized university or college in Madhya Pradesh. For Training sessions: All students and faculty members.
  • Prize & Participation Certificates: Cash prizes upto Rs. 20,000 & Certificates to all the participants

NOTE: Registration for the competition is open for colleges in Madhya Pradesh ONLY. However, colleges OUTSIDE Madhya Pradesh can register for the training sessions.
