Banaras Hindu University 1 st All India Mahamana Memorial Debate Competition is organized in the memory of our founder Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya.
In the continuation of the legacy, this debate competition is organized to create awareness of current issue that is cropping up in the country among all students across the nation.

Banaras Hindu University.
Debate Topic:
Impact of Demonetization in Indian Economy.
“भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था पर विमुद्रीकरण का प्रभाव”
ELIGIBILITY:
The competition is open to all students studying in any of the recognized university across the country.
Rules for participation:
- A team will comprise of 2 debaters compulsorily. One speaking for and other speaking against the motion.
- All speakers in the debate will have 5 minutes to deliver their speech.
- Valid id proof is required for registration in the competition.
- Both Hindi and English languages are allowed
- There will be rebuttal round after the debate where speaker will be asked questions.
REGISTRATION:
- Valid id proof is required for registration in the competition.
- The team has to give their name of the participants along with the registration fees.
- The registration charges are applicable per team.
- Registration Charges:Without accommodation :1000/-. With accommodation: 2000/-.
- The payment can be done either through online payment or through cash. (Details and deadline of payment will be given once we get the details of the team/s).
