About the Organizer

The Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana is a statutory body created by the Indian Parliament to regulate and represent the Indian Lawyers. The council performs regulatory functions by prescribing standards of professional conduct and etiquette and also by exercising disciplinary jurisdiction over the Bar.

The Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana is organising three Virtual Dialogue Sessions.

Theme

Law in the Digital Age and Indian Legal Service Industry Transformation

To deliberate, discuss and strengthen upon the resolve to bring together an effective mechanism to implement Rule of Law in the Digital Age, assist States to frame inclusive, citizen-centric, good governance oriented and human rights protective policies and promote Legal Service Transformation in a pragmatic and realistic manner the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana has encouraged this discussion in the form of a dialogue with varied Judges, Senior Advocates, Leaders of the Bar, International Experts and Scholars on the specified fields with an aim to decipher best solutions and recommendations for the Indian Judicial System.
