The 10th RLC Saquib Rizvi Memorial National Moot Court Competition 2020 is being organised by the Students’ Bar Forum of The Rizvi Law College Mumbai from Friday March 13 to Sunday March 15, 2020.

The Students’ Bar Forum would like to request you to acknowledge this mail and publish regarding our event on your website. Your efforts will be duly appreciated. The mail has all the details regarding the competition and all the criteria have been covered below under suitable heads as required. The Rules and Regulations, Moot Problem and the Registration & Travel Form has been annexed to this mail.

This is the 10th edition of the National Moot Competitions organized by the Rizvi Law College. RLC is known for its Mooting culture and the organizational skill of its organizers who plan everything to the meticulous details.

Eligibility

Students pursuing 3 years/ 5 years undergraduate LL.B. degree course from any recognised university in India are eligible to participate in this competition.

Team Composition

Only one team can participate from each institution. Each team shall consist of a minimum of two (2) members and a maximum of three (3) members.

The substitution of any team member is not allowed after the registration deadline except in extenuating circumstances and only with the written permission from the Organising Committee. Every team shall consist of two speakers. Teams shall have only one researcher.

Registration

The scanned copy of the Registration form (given below), duly filled, with all Team Details must be submitted on email i.e. mootcourts@law.rizvi.edu.in on or before 28th January, 2020 with the subject “Registration for RIZVI LAW COLLEGE MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2020″.

On receiving the registrations, 18 teams will be allowed to participate in the Competition on First Come-First serve basis. The same will be notified to the respective teams through electronic mail.

Selected Teams should send by post/courier, the registration forms duly filled along with the Registration fees of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees FIVE THOUSAND Only) by Demand Draft favoring “Rizvi Law College” payable at Mumbai so as to reach the organizers within 7 days of online registration.
