It is a residential university, all necessary facilities are provided. Class rooms are equipped with air conditioners, projectors and provide a platform to teach through electronic means.
Two hostels, one for boys and one for girls. Girls Hostel have bathroom attached rooms. There is usually twin sharing, and there can be single occupancy on extra payment.
Boys hostel have common washrooms. A Common mess is there catering to 4 meals a day – breakfast lunch snacks and dinner.
Food is decent and unlimited quantity.
Library is spread over three floors, well equipped with desktops, air conditioned and with a good number of books in all subjects.
Moot Court halls, and all sports facilities are also present.
Usual college hours are from 9 am to 2 pm. 5 classes daily, approximately one hour each. Facilities are decent, some excellent, some not that great. Evaluation is divided – 50 marks is end semester examinations, 50 marks is internals, of which 30 marks are written mid semester examinations and remaining 20 is on the discretion of the faculty, can be a project, assignments, Group discussions etc.
Fees and Administration:
Yearly college fee currently is approximately 2 lakhs.
Lots of extra curricular activities. Internal moot court competitions and organization of one international and one national moot court competition – Gujarat National Law University International Moot Court Competition and Gujarat National Law University Moot on Securities and Investment Law. Client counseling competitions, National College Fest – Pentagram, National Sports Fest- Justice League, dance club, music club, theatre club, literature club.
Lots of workshops and certificate courses every semester.
22 kms from Ahmedabad. Surrounding area is developing. Lots of eateries, movie halls and small shops available nearby.
The Recruitment and Internship Committee helps provide internships for all years, be it ngo, district court lawyers, high Court and Supreme Court lawyers and judges, law firms, companies etc.
The same committee provides recruitment opportunities. Different firms and companies offer Pre Placement Offers or come for direct campus recruitment or assessment internships.
Lots of opportunities, good campus, all facilities.
A few faculties can sometimes be quite disappointing.
A great 5 years investment.
