Internship Opportunity @ Dimension Data [Part-time, Full-time | Bangalore, Mumbai]: Application on a Rolling Basis

Dimension Data (‘DD’) has launched a rolling internship program at two location choices – Mumbai and Bangalore.

With a turnover of over USD 8 billion, offices in 49 countries, and 30,000 employees, DD is a major player in Information and Communication Technology and is the preferred partner for major companies at every stage of their technology journey.

DD’s Legal team is spread across the globe and the APAC Legal team is head quartered in Singapore (‘DDAP Legal’).  Its principal function is to assist the company retain and grow its business and govern itself well, acting at all times, within the law and Dimension Data’s policies. DDAP Legal is divided into Business, Corporate and Legal Compliance divisions.

India Legal team, based in Mumbai and Bangalore, has overall responsibility for the day-to-day legal matters in India, spanning all domains including business, corporate and compliance spheres.

DD will induct interns for limited slots both in Mumbai and Bangalore.

Irrespective of the location, the interns shall have exposure to all matters across India and also at times across APAC.

There are two formats for internship:

[1] Full time – Each such internship shall be for a period of no less than four (4) weeks and no more than eight (8) weeks, including public holidays and weekends

[2] After College Hours/ Part time – Each such internship shall be for a period of no less than six (6) weeks and no more than twelve (12) weeks, including public holidays and weekends.

The internships do not involve any gainful employment and there shall be no official stipends.

Applications shall be accepted on a rolling basis with not cut-off date.

Each applicant shall go through a selection process as detailed in below steps:

• An essay topic will be allotted to applicants and within a stipulated time the applicant must submit a 500 words note

• Subsequently, suitable candidates shall be interviewed in person/Skype/VC

• Selected interns shall be intimated joining dates and the internship period Prior to the end of internship, the intern shall be required to make a brief presentation on a topic determined by the Legal Department.

On successful completion of the internship and presentation, a certificate of completion shall be issued by Dimension Data.
