GNLU CCAL’s Second Essay Writing Competition, 2017 on “One Nation, One Election


Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), has been established in 2003 with an aim to become a Research-based Teaching university. Being a premier law school of the country, GNLU has always taken proactive initiatives and outlook to provide valuable and mutually beneficial services to institutions of governance, judiciary, economy and civil society.

The GNLU Centre for Constitutional and Administrative Law (CCAL) promotes an understanding of the Indian Constitution and Administrative Law from various perspectives – legal, political, social, economic, historical etc. as well as to provide avenue for students for freely express their views on challenges to the Constitution. CCAL provides a platform to the students to carry out dedicated research in various areas of Constitutional and Administrative Law.

After the overwhelming success of the 1st CCAL National Essay Writing Competition 2016, CCAL proudly presents its 2nd National Essay Writing Competition 2017, on the theme “One Nation, One Election”

The competition has been designed with the major objective to create a meaningful dialogue on the topic through active participation from students across law schools in India. The contributors stand a chance to win cash prizes, and get their essays published in a journal with an ISBN number.

Last date for Submission is Wednesday, 15th November 2017.
