About the Organizer
NALSAR University of Law, officially the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research, is a premier legal studies institution located in Shamirpet, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The University established the Centre for Air and Space Law (CASL) in 2005.
Mr. Sagar Singamsetty is the Founder of the Kalam Air and Space Law and Policy Essay Competition. The essay competition is organized by the Indian Journal of Law and Public Policy in association with the Centre for Aerospace & Defence Laws at National Law University, Hyderabad (NALSAR).
The Indian Journal of Law and Public Policy (IJLPP) is a solemn effort to promote erudite discernment and academic scholarship over this relationship, in a way which is not mutually dependant on each of these fields, but which is mutually exclusive and independent.
About the Competition
The objective of this annual essay competition is to offer insight into pertinent issues and challenges, offering potential solutions and analyses from professionals and experts in the fields of air and space law. Moreover, these insights demonstrate the global nature of air and space activities, and how current and future challenges require a progressive approach in the development and application of law and policy.
This collection of essays, addressing the contemporary issues and future challenges in air and space law, provides a valuable resource for experienced practitioners and students.
The competition is open for students, academicians, and practitioners from different disciplines. Co-authorship to a maximum of two authors is permitted.
The soft copy of the essay must be emailed to administrators (one in MS Word .doc/.docx format and one in PDF) at email@example.com by 31st October 2019.
A cover letter shall be attached containing following details: Name of author(s); Company/Law firm/University/Law School Name and its address; Topic of the essay; Contact details of the author(s), e.g., Email ID and Contact Number.
