About DSNLU Arbitration Weekends
Centre for Advanced Research in Dispute Settlement (CARDS) under the aegis of Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Vizag is conducting the second edition of “Arbitration Weekends” scheduled from 22nd – 24th September, 2017 in collaboration with Shardul Amarchand & Mangaldas, Economic Law Practices and supported by Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA).

About the Center
Inaugurated on September 23, 2016 by Hon’ble Justice Datuk Dr. Haji Hamid Sultan Bin Abu Backer, Judge, Malaysian Court of Appeals, the Center for Advanced Research in Dispute Settlement (CARDS is an initiative of students of D.S. National Law University, Visakhapatnam, India, who had a common interest to incorporate a Center which would serve as an imperative research and education resource, providing cutting edge and adept information on notable issues and current developments in Arbitration.
The Center has a vision to incorporate various ADR related activities and develop the required skills as associated therewith through induction sessions, workshops and training sessions.
CARDS is also served by its distinguished Advisory Board Members making strategic decision in shaping future activities of organization.
The three-day event is tentatively scheduled as below:
22nd September– Basics of Arbitration, Workshop on Drafting of Arbitration Clause and Lectures
23rd September– Seminar on ‘Time & Costs in Arbitration’
24th September– Paper Presentation & Lectures on Contemporary Issues in Arbitration
