Being a campus senator is a great way of enhancing skills while studying and LawOF has given me this great opportunity to work with young enthusiastic people and get to know basic managerial and communicative skills. The position of campus senator has groomed me in all possible ways and helped me in building networks for public interest. For being a campus senator, one has to get in himself certain dynamic, flexible and leadership qualities which are necessary in managing and observing the tasks of people involved around you. Also, this position creates a great influence on students of the University as you become highly influencial in the descisions of your University and have a major role on your part.

The perks and benefits of being a Campus Senator can be counted in following points-

• Leadership Opportunity– as a campus senator, you develop managerial skills and also learn the basic training of how to perform the role of a leader and complete the tasks assigned in a better and enthusiastic way.

• Getting Connected –  the post ensures that a budding lawyer should build public relations which helps in day to day tasks of a campus senator.

• Enhance Communicative Skills– grooming oneself with good speaking skills is very important for this title. Communicating internship details, organising workshops, mentoring the activities of your department needs a good communicative skill.

• Team Work– A team includes a pool of like minded people where they work together for a common objective by representing your institution and inspiring young people to follow in your footsteps.
• Enhances CV– being a campus senator takes you on the path of being recruited by good companies as the title holds much responsibilities and work to be carried out on a larger scale.

The position of campus senator has provided me an opportunity to enhance all these skills and in organising things in a better way. A good zeal and enthusiasm creates a feel-good factor and gives a personal satisfaction.  Its fun to be a Campus Senator!
