Success Story of Surana & Surana and Shaastra IITM Intellectual Property Law Moot Court held on 5 – 7th January 2018
The Surana and Surana and Shastra IITM Moot Court held on 5-7th Jan successfully ocuured where 16 teams participated with great zeal and competitive spirit to secure the first positon but the in the end only two teams qualified School of Excellence In Law, Chennai and Sastra University.The winners were the School of Excellence In Law, Chennai and runners up were Sastra University.The Best Speaker award was given to Gopika Nambiar from School of Excellence in Law, Chennai and best memorial went to GNLU, Gandhinagar.The judges for the final round were Retd. Hon’ble Justice Prabha Sridevan and Hon’ble Justice M Sundar.
There was a close fight among the team which gave tough competition to the team but the event ended with a grand success and the credit goes to the organizing committee members of this event who gave their best efforts to make this event a remembering memory for the participants.
An effective technological solution necessitates a comprehensive understanding of legal, political and social landscapes. We have therefore initiated Shaastra’s maiden Moot Court Competition, to stress the signiﬁcance of gauging the legal calculus while addressing the question of advancement.
Our Intellectual Property Law Moot Court aims to judiciously combine technology and law. The moot problem is based on contemporary issues pervading SAP Mobile Platforms.
