When I was in school I used to think that college life is all about professional studies and that it is about how a person steps forth in their professional life. This is very much true too. But what one realizes by the end of the school phase is that college is much more than just studies and professional years of one’s life. It’s much more than that.
School life is where you have to get up in the morning, get dressed and off to school. School is like, you know everyone in the class and where you have to get up in the morning, get dressed and off to school. School is like, you know everyone in the class and there’s a strict curricular to be followed. Whereas talking about college, you don’t even know who exists and doesn’t in the class. Also there’s a tradition called BUNKING which one follows at one time or the other. And it’s quite fun to do too. Also, the funny part and the obvious one too is that in school we were able to finish the homework in one night but in the college it is next to impossible.
Moving on, school life is where you go to the library , grab some books , issue them and go home and study. Whereas in the college, the library becomes home..! One more aspect that bothers me and many others is the attendance. In the school, it is mandatory but in the college it is strongly suggested.
Friends, oh that one thing that matters, in school is like today on and tomorrow off. But in college, generally everyone is friends with each other. But at the time of any clash , it is ‘go big or go home’.
Also, I’ve come across many people who find it hard to fit in the college life. Many-a-times, people have trouble finding friends like the ones they had in school. This comes out to be a big enough problem, which is not generally observed in the school life.
One of the main differences between school life and college life is that school life tends to become unforgettable for several reasons. On the other hand college life is not very much cherished for various reasons. There is always a pressure on you to go for employment the moment you enter into a college for higher studies. This is probably one of the reasons why college life is not generally remembered for a long time.
