In a first of its kind, Prof. Nishtha Jaswal, VC, HP NLU and Prof. Paramjit S Jaswal, VC RGNUL, become the first couple to be Vice-Chancellors of two NLUs at the same time.
Recently, Prof. Nishtha Jaswal appointed as Vice-Chancellor of HP NLU as its second Vice Chancellor.
Prior to taking charge as HP NLU’s new VC, she was the Chairperson of the Law Department at Panjab University, Chandigarh
With over 32 Years of Academic Experience, Professor Nishtha Jaswal specialises in Constitutional law, Administrative law, Human Rights and Environmental law.
On the other hand, her husband a very Kind and Renowned Legal Luminary Prof. Paramjit Singh Jaswal, is the Vice-Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala.
