About J C Foundation

J C Foundation is a non-governmental organization registered in 2015 under the Society Registration Act, 1860 of India.

J C Foundation is mainly working in the area of education and social accountability for underprivileged children and people of our society, women and other community members living in difficult circumstances.

J C Foundation is organising the 1st National Article Writing Competition. The initiative is proposed by Mr. Abhishek Agarwal, Treasurer, J C Foundation (Lucknow-Uttar Pradesh), with the objective of spreading awareness regarding the latest Supreme Court judgments, laws and policies, enthusiasts may express their opinions in the form of a Short Article with a word limit of 500 to 1000 Words.

Rules and regulation

  1. The Competition is open for all the students currently pursuing their under-graduation/ post graduation course from any recognized university/college in India.
  2. Individual participation is only allowed for one entry. No co-authorship is allowed for the competition.
  3. There is no restriction on the number of entries from any college or university.
  4. The articles will be scored based on originality of analysis, depth of research, style of writing and communication of arguments. The decision of the evaluators will be final and binding.
  5. The organizers reserve the right to publish and disseminate article submitted to and for the Competition. Submission of the article in this Competition shall constitute consent to such publication and dissemination.
  6. A certificate of participation shall be e-mailed to all participants who have successfully submitted the article.

The registration and submissions must be done simultaneously on or before 14th July 2019 by filling all the details required by CLICKING HERE.

The registration fee is Rs. 50/- per Author.

  • The electronic copies must be submitted in PDF format.
  • The organizers are very particular about the plagiarism as it defeats the purpose of the Competition. Only original articles that have not been published elsewhere and have not been submitted to any other organization are to be submitted. Hence, the participants are advised to take care of the same.
  • The organizers reserve the right to publish and disseminate article submitted to and for the Competition. Submission of the article in this Competition shall constitute consent to such publication and dissemination.

  1. Date of Release of Notification: 19th June 2019
  2. Last date of Registration: 14th July 2019
  3. Submission of Article: 14th July 2019

Rewards

  • Every successful submission will be awarded by an E-Certificate of Participation.
  • The first Position will be rewarded with prize money of Rs. 1000 along with the E-Certificate.
  • The second Position will be rewarded with prize money of Rs. 700 along with the E-Certificate.
  • The third Position will be rewarded with prize money of Rs. 300 along with the E-Certificate.
  • Apart from these, the top ten articles will be published on the official blog of JC Foundation.
