GNLU offers a Short Term Course on “Creating an Intellectual Property Cell at the Premises of an Indian Entity”
Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) has great pleasure in announcing about the ‘Creating an Intellectual Property Cell at the Premises of an Indian Entity’ that is getting organised from 15 – 25 February, 2017 at GNLU.
The Certificate Course aims at:
- Enhancing the awareness levels of Indian entities as well as Indian IP firms regarding the needs and expectations in technology development.
- Sensitizing the Indian entities and Indian IP firms about the IP threats
- Highlighting the pitfalls in the IP practices at Indian entities/ IP firms
- Strategy for selection of legal/IP firms as service providers
- Strategy for capacity building by Indian entities/ IP firms.
About Resource Person:
Dr A.K. Kashyap is currently associated with Crafitti Consulting Pvt. Ltd. as a Co-Crafter (Strategic Innovation) to develop business in the NCR area. He holds a PhD degree from Indian Institute of Science for his work on Dilute Solution Properties of Polymers &Copolymers. At IISc, he has also worked as SRF in the area of Sequence Distribution Studies of Polymers & Copolymers and Kinetics of Propellant Decomposition (Aug. 1972- Aug. 1977).He has a brief teaching and research assignment at BITS, Pilani in the area of Waste Management and Solar Energy (Aug. 1977- June 1978).
Duration for the Course:
The duration of the program is 15- 25 February, 2017. Classes will be conducted from 03:00PM to 05:00PM at GNLU Campus.

NOTE: A minimum number of 25 to a maximum of 35 Participants will be accepted on a First Come First Serve Basis.
