The Editorial Board invites submissions for the RSRR Journal for Volume 6, Issue 1 on “Healthcare in India: Tracing the Contours of a Transitioning Regime”.

Healthcare system is akin to an oiled machine driving the wheels of growth. It is not only necessary for the expansion of the economy but also for its sustenance and survival.

In the absence of accessible healthcare, the entire workforce of a nation can be rendered handicapped. The policies framed in pursuit of effective provision of healthcare play a crucial role in the growth of this sector. The recent actions taken by the government include the ‘Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana’, the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 and the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017.
